Hi! I’m a freelance writer based in Manila, Philippines. Working at home offers me freedom to do things the way I want them done and at my own pace compared with working in a regular office with regular hours, but one of the most difficult things I deal with is my tendency to procrastinate — especially with self-imposed deadlines. On top of that, I have an annoying habit/urge to do other things while procrastinating, instead of the things that need to be done. Not just anything — I usually get the urge to do things I absolutely don’t know how to do in the first place: baking, carpentry, weaving, sewing, etc.

So instead of beating my self up over this, I’ve just given in. I’ve decided to make my procrastination more productive by learning new skills and putting them to use in my crafty projects while procrastinating. I find that if I get the procrastination projects out of the way, I can get back to working on the things I need to do with renewed vigor and enthusiasm.

This blog is a record of my procrastination projects 🙂
